Having money this days has not been easy for a few Nigerians, of which COVID-19 is now a stimulant of a dry wallet. Notwithstanding, there's a way out. In this post, I will amplify how I was favoured through Faith. It might sound absurd, but it's real. It happened like this: On that faithful day, I just isolated myself for some unknown hours, doing some unnecessary nonsense as some folks may call it, but to me, it's really necessary for chilvarious behavior. I knelt down at a spot, deeply meditating, so many thoughts compiled my mind, then, I began to pour out my utmost desire to the infinite being that formed the worlds from nothing. As I wonder through the worlds of ideas, I began to sense an intriguing move in my subconscious circus - to broaden my cerebral momentum. At that same spot, all these ideas reverberated a thinking system and manufactured an osophy in my cradle. I was in deep contrition, frenzied and remorseful ; still on that same spot, making some faithf...
MY TOMORROW

Whenever I foregleam into the milky ways that houses the galaxy, I feel deep down my heart that there is an infinite being behind every situations of life. Life can be sweet and as well be bitter or perhaps corrosive. It's now clear to me that when a man is financiallly unstable, he becomes an object of mockery- many a man ended up committing suicide without the awareness of what the future has. Sometimes, we need to be rational in decision making- an unseen force needs to order our steps before we swerve into making drastic conclusion. O how lucky and opportuned are those that were born with silver spoon in their hands. So many a people on the highway begging and those perpetuating mischievous acts are never happy with the way they are - but they have no option than to be envisaged to doing what can malign or damage their reputation. As a young man with visions and missions ; don't think the way will be so smooth. No! Narrow is...

In today's series, we will be discussing about a very crucial view of some Church folks. There have been a variety of Christian views on poverty and wealth. At one end of the spectrum is a view which casts wealth and materialism as an evil to be avoided and even combated. At the other end is a view which casts prosperity and well-being as a blessing from God. Many taking the former position address the topic in relation to the modern neoliberal capitalism that shapes the Western world. American theologian John B. Cobb has argued that the "economism that rules the West and through it much of the East" is directly opposed to traditional Christian doctrine. Cobb invokes the teaching of Jesus that "man cannot serve both God and Mammon (wealth)". He asserts that it is obvious that "Western society is organized in the service of wealth" and thus wealth has triumphed over God in the West. Scottish theologian Jack Mahoney has characterized the sayings of Jesu...

Poverty is a fundamental phenomenal in today's fiercely competitive world. Explicitly, the existence of poverty is the aftermath of several contingencies. The phenomenon is seen in different facets of living: food, shelter, eduaction, psychology. Life seems difficult and frustrating when the basic necessities of life are found wanting. Access to good schools, health care, electricity, safe water, and other critical services remains elusive for many people, often determined by socioeconomic status, gender, ethnicity, and geography. The multidimensional view- wherein other aspecs such as education, access to basic utilities, health care, and security are included- reveals a world in which poverty is a much broader, more entrenched problem. According to the world data lab, poverty in Africa is increasing in 16 countries. Additionally 27 of the world's 28 poorest countries are in Sub-Saharan Africa, and each has a poverty rate of 30%. In working with ...

FAITH AND PRAYER. Text: Mark 11:22-24, Mathew 17: 20 In today's exhortation, we will centre our discussion on five important points. A- God's presence B- Faith without prayer C- The push D- Patience of faith E- Faith is believing. GOD'S PRESENCE Scripturally, it is a tested and trusted fact that prayer is a key thing in our Christian lives, but the way we appoach it is the problem. Prayer, as we know, is not an interview with God that ends when we say Amen. Amen does not mean you're done. No. Take a keen study of Matthew 28:20 which says "teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. This directly shows us that his presence being unconditional is with those who love him by doing his commandment. Humanly speaking, worshipping God is a lifestyle, it's what we do and moreover, praying does not create God's presence, we actually pray because we believe God is presen...

" No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from garment, and the rent is made worse. Neither do men put new wine into old bottles, else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottle, and both are present." - Mathew 9:16-17. In our context today, the wine shows the new move of the spirit of God, his visitation and revivals. While the bottle is the individual in which all these mentioned above would be carried out on. As we all know about the bottle that we all use to preserve liquid, Yes! I know we know, but if the bottle is old, it becomes weak and looks stinky and it can't contain a new liquid. It must be new to contain a new liquid. Let's narrow it down to our lives now as Christians, if our body i.e our spirit man is filled with filthy things, when the Lord wants to pour something fresh and spectacular in us, it can't contain it due ...
